ABOUT THE CONTEST
 
Our goals are to reduce and prevent youth alcohol and marijuana use in Amador County. You are invited to enter the contest by creating a poster that will help raise awareness about the risks involved in using or the benefits of abstaining from or quitting alcohol or marijuana.

Contest registration is open.
Deadline to submit artwork is February 24th.

If you digitally create your poster, please email it to communications@atcaa.org on or before the deadline along with your name, school, grade and phone number.

If you draw, paint or hand make your poster, follow the instructions about where to submit on the registration form. You can also hand deliver to:

CONTEST RULES
  • Each poster must be the work of one student.
  • The poster concept, design and any photos or artwork used must be the original work of the student.
  • Posters must be a minimum of 8 ½ x 11 and a maximum of 11 x17 inches in size.
  • The following information must be included on the back of the poster: student’s name, mailing address, e-mail (if available), phone number, school, teacher’s name and grade if it is not being submitted digitally.
  • Posters will be judged on overall impact, effectiveness in conveying the theme, originality and artistic merit. Judges’ decisions are final.
  • Digitally created artwork as well as drawing and painting in any media is accepted (pencil, crayon, markers, watercolor, acrylic, etc.)
  • All entries become the property of the SSAY Coalition. SSAY may use the artwork submitted for future messaging purposes.
  • To comply with copyright laws, all artwork must be original to the entrant.
  • Winners will be notified by February 27th, 2026
  • Awards will be presented March 4th, 2025
